Clearsprings Ready Homes is absent from two years of published Home Office spending

A statement about publication, not about payment. Clearsprings Ready Homes plainly held and delivered its contracts throughout this period. The finding is that the Home Office’s published record of payments over £25,000 does not show them.

Across all 402 published files from 2010 to 2026, Clearsprings Ready Homes appears in 2015/16, 2016/17, 2018/19, 2020/21, 2024/25 and 2025/26. It does not appear in 2022/23 or 2023/24.

This is a real absence, not a renamed supplier. Every supplier string in the 229,061-row corpus containing “Clear” or “Ready Home” was listed and checked. Month coverage for both years is complete, so it is not a missing file either.

For scale. The National Audit Office puts spending on the asylum accommodation contracts at £1.7 billion in the first seven months of 2024-25 alone, of which hotels were 76%. In 2022/23 the three prime providers together account for £40.1m of published payments.
