Home Office spends £5.77M PER DAY on asylum hotels

The National Audit Office confirmed the Home Office is spending an average of £5.77 million per day on asylum hotel accommodation.

30,657 people housed in hotel accommodation as at 31 December 2025 — that’s 28.7% of all asylum support.
